The inside is huge with plenty of room, the staff is always friendly and informative, the students have a reciprocating desire to learn and get better, and the instructors are passionate and patient to teach and excited to see you succeed. Hands down the best choice I ever made for my son. He’s learned discipline, has more confidence, and can defend himself.
Clean facility, amazing staff, and Prof. Renato is very involved with his students.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Benefits Your Childs Future

Brazilian jiu jitsu was evolved in Brazil by the Gracie family, it originally came from Japan. It was Count Koma the famous jiu-jitsu master and a successful businessman who brought this form of martial arts to Brazil in the year 1914. He received good support and help from a politician named Gastao Gracie, son of George Gracie who himself had migrated to Brazil from Scotland. As a gesture of gratitude for the help received, the jiu-jitsu master taught this form of martial arts to Gastao’s son who was Carlos Gracie. After mastering the technique himself, Carlos taught it to all his brothers.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is designed to promote a balanced mind and body in the student; it relies on the usage of leverage and technique instead of strength which is a great approach to self defense. This is the reason why BJJ can be useful for kids and help them with personal development. Apart from the self-defense techniques kids will also learn to develop their self-confidence. This can become an important asset of your kid’s social engagement, self-esteem and personal resources that will help him deal with those bullies.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Benefits your childs future greatly because of its gentle way of controlling a possibly violent situation. BJJ can offer you kids with some non-violent alternatives towards situations that might demand physical confrontation, this is because BJJ focuses on grappling techniques rather than striking such as punching and kicking. In addition to this your children will learn how to be self-disciplined. Originally this form of martial arts was developed by ancient monks who were quite strict about the discipline followed. BJJ also provides with proper diet that a student must follow for optimum results.

The art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu requires rigorous training, practice is the key. Kids are taught various techniques and moves, they are made to repeat these techniques and move till the time they completely master them. This in a way builds a neural pathway, which in turn positively affects the child to gain grip on focus and dedication. It can become a continuous source of motivation and challenge which will assist your child with goal-setting, this is because unlike other forms of martial arts BJJ is a dynamic art. It doesn’t follow the antiquated movements or any patterns that are pre-arranged like in Karate or kung-fu.

BJJ also teaches the students a great deal about respect, treat others the way you want to be treated. It teaches that one must respect every individual, even if he is your opponent. This technique helps in controlling the aggressive verbal or physical tendencies especially observed in teenagers. The practitioner learns to treat everyone with due respect. It also requires a practitioner to follow a certain set of ethics, which further helps him with building lasting relationships with his elders and peers.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a wonderful form of exercise; it can effectively help children with obesity problems. Children in today’s times have an easy access to lazy entertainment such as TV, internet and video games. Children who practice jiu-jitsu gradually develop high levels of energy and physical fitness; also they learn to respect their bodies and learn to make right choices. Brazilian Jiu jitsu benefits your childs future because when started at a young age the desire to work out and learn new things is implimented on them and follows up into adulthood.
