Professor Renato Migliaccio was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil is a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Master Ryan Gracie.Also a 3rd degree black belt in Judo.
Prof. Renato is also a graduate of the top university in Brazil, USP (University of Sao Paulo) where he earned a bachelors degree in Sports Science.
After 25 years of experience in fighting, competing, teaching, studying, motivating and traveling; so many competitions, training camps, gyms, academies, national team camps and Olympic training centers including Colorado Springs and over 600 fights (BJJ, Judo, MMA, Boxing, No Gi Grappling) Prof. Renato earned titles at the National, Pan American, European and World Championships! Professor Renato was even a member of the Brazilian National Judo college team and Greco-Roman Wrestling team.
He competed in many international events in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling and the Abu Dhabi No Gi worlds and a MMA record of 6-1 as a professional, including being on team USA in the M1 Challenge as the lightweight representative.
But all of this does not mean anything if your instructor does not know how to teach and keep the students motivated in their learning process.
Professor Renato has been teaching since the age of fifteen and his teaching experience comes from a experience of teaching children starting at age of 4, teaching poor kids enrolled in a social programs in Brazil to later hundreds of students spread throughout the World which he visits twice a year in Europe, America, Canada, Brazil and Mexico founding later the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association.
